San Mateo Lagoon

A wonderful lagoon host to power boating and watersports. Three recreational parks including Acqatic Park, Joinville Park and Lakeshore Park to include a few. The lagoon is host to the Fish Market Restaurant as well. Power boats can opperate on the San Mateo Lagoon, and coexist wth wind and human powered craft with a harbor patrol located at AcquaticPark.

Foster City Lagoon

A closed Lagoon System connects homes and restaurants on the water. Highly sought after, built later than San Mateo Lagoon, the homes are generally more spacious. Low speed electric power and wind and human powered craft are permitted on the Foster City Lagoon in certain areas. Foster City is noted for its schools and is the headquarters of VIsa International.

Redwood Shores Lagoon

Redwood Shores, having the latest of the waterfront development communities with the exception of Redwood CIty, is characterized by bigger homes, comfortably situated in attached and detached arrangements. 

Human powered craft are permitted on the 

RedwoodShores Lagoon.
